Meet the Staff
Dr. Maxson and his wife Penny have worked together since the opening of his private practice 29 years ago. They raised their son Tyler, and daughter Lindsey in Stuart. They strive to make the office more than just a dental visit. From the front office to the back our patients are given 5 star treatment. Both enjoy working together, keeping updated with dental technology and office procedures that flow for the patients best interest. They are both constantly evolving to keep the patient experience a positive one.
Penny and Tina, our receptionists, have a combined experience of over 45 years. They both enjoy meeting and working with people. They strive to be sure that our office provides each patient with the individualized care and concern that they would give to a family member. Scheduling, working with insurance verification, claims processing, treatment estimates, and financing options to meet patients needs are just a few of the ways they make our patients appreciate 5 star treatment. Both do whatever needs to be done to make our dental family feel as special as they are to our team.
Patti has been a certified dental assistant for 30 years. She graduated in 1988 with an Associates in Applied Science in New York. Patti enjoys working with her patients in both their care and comfort. Her attention to detail and pleasant personality extends to both her team and patients.
Mo has been in the dental field for 16 years. She has worked at our office since 2006 as a dental hygienist. Melissa’s favorite thing about being a hygienist is getting to know each patient’s specific needs and helping meet those individually. She and her husband have one daughter, Braelyn, and a son, Brantley.
Liz has 19 years of dental experience, 2 as an assistant, and 17 as a hygienist. Her goal is to help her patients understand the importance of good oral hygiene. She enjoys getting to know her patients and making them feel comfortable in the chair. For fun, she and her husband enjoy kayaking, scuba diving, and taking their dog to the beach.
Christine has been in the dental field for 4 years. She enjoys educating her patients to help them maintain the best oral health possible. It is important to Christine to make her patients feel comfortable and welcome while they are in the dental chair. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their 4 dogs. In her spare time she teaches dog agility classes.
